. When it comes to PDF viewer, Foxit Reader is always my favorite choice instead of Adobe Reader. Granted, Adobe Reader is definitely a popular Free PDF reader. However the fact that its program alone takes hundreds MB of space (hence slow loading) has been turning off people from continuing to use it. Why bother to use bloated software if there is much smaller application that loads much faster than Adobe Reader?
For those who insist to use Adobe Reader, you may want to consider to use the lite version of the original one; Adobe Reader Lite 9.1. It was done by a talented developer who managed to strip off the unwanted plugins from the official Adobe Reader installation. You can see the list of things that had been removed from the original version after the screenshot.
